About Our Society

Our History

The Shaheed Jarnail Singh Memorial Welfare Society (Regd.) is a dedicated group of local volunteers based in Bathinda, operating since 2004. We started this registered NGO to honor the brave memory and sacrifice of Punjab Police Commando Shaheed Jarnail Singh Rathore, who proudly gave his life in the line of duty for our nation.

Our Mission

Guided by our motto, “A Step Towards Humanity,” our work is entirely free and volunteer-driven. We work day and night to serve our community by providing 24/7 emergency ambulance services, professional snake rescue within city limits, an instant blood donation network, and free daily evening classes for underprivileged children.

How We Serve Our Community

Antim Yatra Vehicle

We help grieving families by providing respectful transport for deceased loved ones from homes or hospitals to the cremation grounds. Our team stands by families during these tough times to make the arrangements a little easier. This Service is run on a fixed, charge to cover vehicle fuel and maintenance.

Free Blood Donation

We connect emergency hospital patients with active, live blood donors in Bathinda instantly. Our vast network of verified voluntary donors helps families avoid panic during sudden surgeries or medical crises. We maintain a constant helpline to match the required blood group within minutes without any charges.

We protect your family from dangerous bites while ensuring the wildlife is relocated safely into deep forest areas. Our emergency rescue service team keep your neighborhood safe.

Community Relief

Outside of our daily emergency services, we work on the ground to support people in Bathinda who are facing hard times. Moreover, Our volunteers regularly arrange clothing drives for winter, plant trees across the city, and step in with food and essential aid whenever families face sudden financial crises or natural emergencies.
